This digital photography workshop offers instruction on the tools your camera, and how you can make the most of your camera and take exceptional photographs. In addition, learn how to print on a digital printer up to 54 inches wide and almost infinitely long. The workshop will also provide an overview on analog to digital manipulation, color spaces and profiles, paper selection, display options, and mixed media applications will also be covered. Ink charges are $5 per square foot. Basic knowledge of Macintosh and Photoshop is required.
Jon Zax owns and operates Lotuscolor, one of the Bay Area's premier digital imaging studios. An early advocate of digital imaging, he has taught Photoshop since 1990, privately and at various institutions, including the Academy of Art University, SF State, and the Center for Electronic Arts. He is also an award-winning photographer and digital artist.
