Mix it up! This class will introduce painting techniques with mixed media concepts and ideas. Experimentation with a variety of materials and techniques will be encouraged. From image transfers, collage, sewn elements, to moving to three dimensions, students will have a chance to incorporate multiple mediums into acrylic paint. We will also examine and discuss artists past and present from the Cubists and Dada artists to contemporary artists who use mixed media in their artwork.
