After earning her degree in Dance from New York University-Tisch School of the Arts in 2004, Dorian Nuskind-Oder spent 5 years pursuing parallel careers in dance and videography. In 2009, she came to Montreal to collaborate with Helene Blackburnon the video projections for the piece Variations S. Around the same time, Dorian met Simon Grenier-Poirer, the musician and visual artist who became her artistic collaborator. With him, she has founded the company Delicate Beast (2009). Together, they have collaborated for three pieces : No Light Thing (2010), Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt (2012), and Pale Water Dark Sea (2013).

Joannie Douville completed her bachelor degree in interpretation at UQÀM. Subsequently, she got her psycology’s certificate. She created two pieces with the collective En Cohorte which she co-founded with Ariane Boulet and Jessica Viau. These two creations Tabula Rasa and Chroniques d’une saison deal with the social and political weight of places and their impact on people’s developpement. She also directed a solo, where she’s a dancer, named N’arrête jamais d’inventer l’espace où je me trouve. For her present work Mechanical Resonance of Lions, she will be on stage with Ariane Boulet, Andréa deKeizer and Gabriel Vignola.
