Performing Arts Residencies

The Theatre Arts Department at The Banff Centre is committed to the commissioning, development, and production of new works in all major performance disciplines. Throughout the year, it invites project proposals from artists, artistic collectives, and companies to develop new work in the Theatre Arts department’s studios, theatre facilities, and production shops.

Applicants can forward residency proposals, as follows:

* Creation Residency: A program to develop a new work in its initial creation phase in the studios at The Banff Centre.
* Production Residency: A program to develop a new work in its production creation phase in the theatres at The Banff Centre.
