Dawn Saunders Dahl





Interests I attended Red Deer College and the Alberta College of Art and Design, I continue to exhibit my work in solo and group shows.
My Bodies of Work include:
1. Alberta Farm and Ranch Women: selections from this project are currently touring through the Art Gallery of Alberta TREX Program. This work consists of paintings, photographs as well as installation and sound recordings of the Farm and Ranch Women in Alberta. (2010 -2015)
2. Surreal Series: Since 2002 I have created large scale paintings, as well as small scale collages with portrait drawings on vellum, of people in surreal settings alongside childhood memorabilia, circus performers and monsters.
3. Portraits of people, pets and babies on Canvas, Paper, Wood and Clay
4. Oil Painted Landscapes
5. Abstract Field Paintings
6. Abstract Sparkle Field Paintings
7. Photographs of People and Landscapes
I have begun to sell in local Alberta craft markets, with the intent to participate in large scale shows throughout 2013 in Western Canada. Detailed Listing information about show dates and locations will be available via my website and E-newsletter. 
I am available to accommodate commissioned work for portraits or pets/people/babies as well as the Abstract Field Paintings. Please Note: I require up to 2-3 months to accommodate drying time as well as photography sessions and research.
