Jesse Allarie




Born in 1984, Montreal Quebec, Jesse Allarie received his Bachelor's in Fine Art from Concordia University in 2010, the same year Concordia University selected his work "Barrier" for the annual Courtyard Sculpture Competition. Jesse lived a year In Singapore (2008/09) after earning an international exchange which led to an opportunity to travel through countries such as Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal and Egypt to name a few. While in SIngapore Allarie negotiated an arrangement with two tattoo artists and gained over 35 hours worth of ink in exchange for his drawings. In 2006 Allarie graduated from Dawson College (Mtl) where he was awarded the Myles Tyrell Chairperson's Purchase Prize for his piece "Sacrifice" (Dawson College permanent collection). Allarie believes in transhumanism, is an animal lover/vegetarian, agnostic and spent his childhood summers on a farm in Ontario.
