Jonathan Fournier




Jonathan Fournier is a Montreal-based writer, actor and sound designer. He is currently studying communication studies at Concordia University and taking acting classes at ASM Performing Arts. His first play (as a writer and director), a Christmas romantic comedy titled The Boy and the Wrapper, was produced for the 2010 Montreal Fringe Festival and was well-received by audiences. Jonathan has several other scripts (for film and theatre) in various stages of development. As a sound designer, Jonathan has done recording and editing work for his own productions, as well as for promotional material used by Tableau D’Hote theatre. Jonathan was an actor at the 2009 Montreal Fringe Festival (in Security Week on Dom Pompeo Live, directed by Chip Chuipka).

Will receive my bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Concordia University this fall. Classes that stand out included learning Sound production/design/recording from Andra McCartney and Owen Chapman (DJ O Positive), scriptwriting from Ken Briscoe and playwriting from Kit Brennan.
Took acting/filmmaking/theatre production classes at ASM Pderforming Arts.
