Katie Seline




I am a music industry & media professional with a Master's degree from New York University in the Music Business and Performing Arts Professions program. 

I have a lot of experience in many fields such as Music Licensing, College and Commercial Radio, the Live Music & Booking Industry, and Promotions. I also have extensive experience in managing large teams of people in a successful, not-for-profit environment.

I have a passion for the legal aspects of the entertainment industry, artist management, television, radio and film.

Work experiences

  • Station Manager Current

    With CJLO - Concordia University Radio - 1690 AM from May 2009 to present.
    Manager of a volunteer college radio station with over 100 volunteers and DJs and over 20 hours of original live programming per day.
  • Intern

    With Gold Village Entertainment / Wiz Kid Management from January 2009 to May 2009.
    Intern for a mid-sized artist management company. Work with multi-media, social networking, office administration & assisting in the management of artists such as A Camp, The Hives, Care Bears on Fire, Rhett Miller, Tom Morello, Ben Lee, Steve Earle & Alison Moorer.
  • Graduate Assistant - Counseling Services

    With New York University from January 2008 to May 2009.
    General administrative duties. Scheduling appointments. Greeting patients. Assisting providers.
  • Intern - Music & Media Licensing

    With MTV Networks from January 2008 to May 2008.
    Assisting with projects involving the licensing of music and media for MTV Networks shows and licensing out of MTV Networks shows to other networks.
  • Program & Promotions Director, Radio Show Host

    With CJLO - Concordia University Radio from September 2006 to September 2007.
    Program Director (December 2006 – September 2007):<br><br> Organization of programming and volunteer staff to ensure smooth operation of the radio station and delivery of quality and original around-the-clock programming. <br><br><br> Promotions Director (August 2006 – September 2007):<br><br> Planning and coordination of events and contests intended to develop and promote Concordia University’s student radio station. Management and organization of promotions team. Networking between record labels, promoters, film companies, booking agents and venues. Planning on and off-campus events.
