Biography
Raised by corporate nomads, Leila Stambouli was born in the Albertan prairies and raised in the valleys of the Americas. Inspired by the towering peaks of the Canadian and American Rockies, as well as the Chilean Andes, Stambouli too has aspired to such great heights.
"Documenting the Nameless Generation", Leila Danielle Stambouli photographs and paints young creatives in the "City of Saints", Montréal. Wandering the city streets, LDS has found her muses on the sidewalks and bike paths of the Plateau and the Mile End. Artists, musicians, writers and style-setters are the subjects of her graphic portraits.
From her vantage point four storeys above the Mile-End rooftops, Leila immortalizes an eclectic client base at her Rue de Gaspé studio.
