Overview

Biography

Nadia Uppal lives in Montreal, Quebec.
She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University and continued to work there in the lithography studio on her own projects, while being the studio technician. She received a first mention for the Albert-Dumouchel prize by the Conseil Quebecois de l’Estampes.
After leaving school, she worked at Galerie Graff, a contemporary art gallery, and printmaking studio. She then decided to further her studies in traditional 2d animation, and worked at the Cinegroupe Animation studio on various children’s television series, and film. At this point, she has had a few solo, and many group exhibitions, notably at Luft Gallery in Toronto, and Galerie Espace in Montreal.
Nadia continued her studies in graphic design at Dawson College. She has since worked on her own drawing projects, and making posters for music shows around town.
