Biography

Sunny Kerr makes and organizes art for institutional spaces and, as a member of the curatorial/artist’s collective, WayUpWayDown, for unpredictable situations. His artistic work encompasses video and site-specific installation, book works, process works, and relational events. In all of his projects, he values collaboration, learning and risk-taking. He completed his BFA at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University and earned his MFA at York University in 2006. He has taught at both York University and the Ontario College of Art and Design and was most recently sessional faculty in the University of Toronto’s Visual Studies program.
